ASHRAE certification is a voluntary credential awarded to professionals who have demonstrated their expertise and knowledge in the areas of heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration. It is sponsored by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Professionals must pass an exam that measures comprehension in energy efficiency concepts, codes and standards, equipment operation and maintenance, indoor environment controls, system design applications and more.
